Misty Mountain Lodge - A Mountain Retreat in Estes Park, CO

Tubing

For a fantastic tubing adventure down an incredible mountain hillside in Fraser Colorado, check out the Fraser Tube Hill, complete with tube rentals and pulleys to pull you back the top of the hill for one more ride. Skiing

Arapahoe Basin

Arapahoe Basin is a close and convenient, yet exciting ski area less than 2 hours from Denver and the Castle Rock conference center. Ski any day in March before or after the conference for only $49/lift ticket for adults (regular price: $65), or $20/lift ticket for children (regular price: $28). All you have to do is bring your conference badge from the 2010 Family Conference and ask for the special conference discount at the ticket window. Equipment rentals are also available at standard prices.

More about Arapahoe Basin

An immortal winter giant, the mountain stands tall with a summit elevation of 13,050 feet, blanketed in fresh snow. From the base it invites you, calm and silent. Over a hundred trails expertly carved through its depths and seven chairlifts raising excited patrons to the sky, you stand in awe, captivated by its brilliance as the sun peaks curiously through the snow-filled clouds. It is the Legendary Arapahoe Basin.

Since 1946 Arapahoe Basin has been serving up a fantastic ride for skiers or riders from the Colorado area as well as the world. A-Basin opened on October 15, 2008 and was one of the first to open nationally. Arapahoe Basin receives over 350 inches of snowfall annually.

If shopping is your thing, you’ll find some of the best shopping in Colorado just 5 minutes from the conference center and downtown Castle Rock. The outlet malls at Castle Rock are a great place to pick up incredible deals on name brand clothing, gear, electronics, household items, and so much more. With over 120 Brand name stores sitting at the foot of the Rockies, Castle Rock boasts some of the best shopping in the entire state.
